Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE)

ISTE chapter was inaugurated in our college in the year 2010 with the presence of Prof.N.R.Shetty,president ISTE New Delhi (Vice president of International Federation of Engg .Education Socities,USA Chairman ,National Advisory Committee,Dept.of science and tech, Govt of India, Former vice chancellor of Bangalore University) Dr.S.Basil Gnanappa,ph.d, Vice president,ISTE(Principal, C.S.I Institute of Technology),its main goal is to serve as a common agency for stimulating and guiding its members to formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education for the service of mankind and the advancement of general welfare.

The major objective of the ISTE is,

- To develop effective teachers & educational administrators

- To improve instructional methods & practices & administrative usages

- To enhance professional ideals & standards

- To foster research as a function complementary to teaching

- To cultivate fraternal spirit amongst the teachers, administrators, industrialists & professionals

- To bring about effective linkage between technical institutions, industry & society

We conduct various activities like,

Special short term industrial exposure programmes for teachers organised by industries in their premises. Seminars/workshops/conferences on topics of relevance of technical education. To feed technical knowledge to our staff and students.
